Visit the KitchenAid Stand Mixer Factory Tour in Greenville, Ohio. Every KitchenAid(R) Stand Mixer in the world is assembled with pride in this facility. This unique factory tour is led by actual production associates and brings the tourist into contact with the people who are responsible for making this beloved icon of the American kitchen. The factory tour take about one hour. Guests must be 12 years of age or older. Proper footwear is required and protective eyewear is issued. The tour starts with a brief history and overview of the KitchenAid line. We then show you how a mixer comes to be by taking you through the machining, painting, subassembly, assembly and shipping of this famous household product. No visit to the factory is complete without a visit to the KitchenAid Experience Center located in the downtown district. The center boasts the most complete selection of new and refurbished KitchenAid(R) Portable products on the globe. As well as a museum exhibit, free tastings, cooking demonstrations, and classes. Bear's Mill
